“Mohamed’s leadership throughout his middle and high school career has inspired many changes at RVIS. From designing the school coffee shop to reaching semifinalist status in the nationwide UNIDO project to organizing a community football tournament, Mohamed has served as an active and engaged student leader. He continually strives to improve himself and his community by participating in activities such as the inaugural Leadership Cohort, INJAZ, student council, and the School Improvement Think Tank (SITT). Mohamed is courageous and inspiring, leading both his peers and teachers. Personally, it has been a privilege teaching Mohamed. As educators, our hope is to inspire in our students kindness, service and impact. I know the world will be a better place because of Mohamed and I look forward to seeing how he will continue to impact his community and the world.”
